A big thanks to Linda Kocent for telling me about HCEA and suggesting I attend your conference that coincided with me being on a Florence Nightingale Travel Scholarship in the US (primarily visiting Family Learning Centres in Philadelphia and Chicago). I'm delighted u are, in turn, interested in UK developments in this area. My impression is that we all can do a lot for patient and family care through pooling our ideas/resources.I'd just returned to the UK end October when Self-Care Awareness Week came along and had wondered if I should send information about it via the HCEA discussion site but decided u probably already had similar projects in the US.
